K-One Partners With Livescribe - Local company to help develop and manufacture Pulse and other LiveScribe smartpen product lines

Friday May 01, 2009 - In a move to help and manufacture the latest smartpen and its relevant technologies, K-One Technology Berhad scaled a partnership agreement with LiveScribe Inc. allowing them to bring the Pulse Smartpen to Malaysia and surrounding areas. As a sign of Malaysia’s support for it’s MSC companies, Yang Berbahagia Dato’ Badlisham Ghazali, Chief Executive Officer, Multimedia Development Corporation Sdn Bhd (MdeC) witnessed the signing ceremony.

Mr Edwin Lim Beng Fook, Group Chairman of the K-one Group and Mr Jim Marggraff, Chairman of Chief Executive Officer of LiveScribe Inc were on hand to do the signing. Both of them expresses confidence in the partnership’s ability to grow despite the current economic environment with other possible partnerships in the future. Mr Jin Marggraff demonstrated the Pulse Smartpen’s capabilities and flexibility to attending participants of the signing ceremony.

The Pulse Smartpen is a digital paper and pen platform which allows you to write down, record and link audio to what you write down, playback and listen to your recordings and upload your notes and audio linkups to your computer all from a normal paper pad. With a number of additional features including language translation, various music instruments and a host of other up and coming applications, the Pulse Smartpen comes with 1GB worth of space for both recordings as well as applications, BIG’ant (M) Sdn Bhd, a subsidiary of the K-One Group is the authorized distributor of the LiveScribe “Pulse” Smartpen in ASEAN, Oceania and Middle East markets.
